Hello, my name is Shaunice Leonard – Owner and Creative Director. Beyond the Décor is an event planning and venue decorating small business, locally owned by me, Shaunice Leonard. Beyond the Décor was officially opened on June 25th 2019.

I started this business because I always had a keen interest in décor and speciality craft items. Prior to starting the business, I would usually set up for small family gatherings or work on small projects for individuals. People would say to me, “Why not start a business?” For years, it would fall on deaf ears. In 2018, I decided why not! I became a certified event planner and officially opened in 2019. It is a gratifying feeling doing something that I love and that I am deeply passionate about, while creating an exceptional experience for someone …it’s profound!

Beyond the Décor provides professional and creative services. No matter the occasion we go above and beyond! We take pride in enhancing our customers’ event. Our services include but are not limited to event planning, event concept consultations, budgets and timelines, theme/décor, vendor selection, venue decoration and rental items.
